The official party to celebrate the 

launch of "Little Red Riding Hood" is June 8 at my studio! The proceeds will benefit Wood Library. I will be at the Quinlan show this weekend in Philadelphia starting May 3! May 5 is the big show room day, May 4 I will be debuting my new book "Little Red Riding Hood"!  Hope to see you there!

 

Other mothers have dinner on the table by six o'clock. I have primed prototypes of Little Red and a Wolf!

Just heard from the printer that the "Little Red Riding Hood" books will be sent this week!  Picture is of Alice and Little Red on my book shelf.

A really wonderful painter walked in to my studio and offered me her space because she is moving to Maine.  I didn't see how I could refuse because of the beautiful light and it being three times larger than the space I have now (which I have really enjoyed, but have outgrown).  It was totally unexpected, but I am looking forward to a new chapter in such a calm, light filled space!

The Red Riding Hood mould worked!  Yeah!  Now on to The Wolf!  I am photographing each step as I make the mould for him, and will post in an album.

Halfway through making the mould for the Red Riding Hood Limited Edition doll!  Seems to have worked so far.  The arms will be cast separately so they can beattached with wire and will be able to be poseable when finished.

This is my least favorite part of making dolls and I am not particularly good at it--it is a sticky, tedious process! 

This is the cover of my new book "Little Red Riding Hood'.  I will post some pictures from the inside as well--it is made to look like a stage play in a theater!
